Refugee Phrasebook was an international collaboration, during the height of the refugee crisis. The phrasebook was a collection of the most essential phrases in several languages, combined with important information. The design philosophy behind it was that it should be as cheap as possible to produce and easy to replicate. For the Dutch edition we collaborated with students and teachers from Willem de Kooning Academy, Piet Zwart Institute and other volunteers.
I was responsible for the DTP-part and distribution, importing the translations and making it as easy to read and cheap to produce as possible. In other words, using as much space as possible without everything becoming a mess. For the distribution we all came together to fold and staple all the phrasebooks.
